The Cove

The Society of International Affairs in Gothenburg proudly presents the screening of the Oscar- winning documentary, The Cove.
The cove is produced by the non-profit organization Oceanic Preservation Society (OPS) and the Executive Director Louie Psihoyos. The organization creates film, photograpgy and media inspiring people world wide to take action in order to save the oceans.
The Cove reveals a shocking and heartbreaking story, exposing the slaughter of more than 20,000 dolphins off the coast of Japan every year.
The Camera observes an elite team of activists and freedivers as they take on the misson to uncover the well hidden secrets of a cove in Taiji, Japan.
The result is a provocative mix of investigative journalism, eco-adventure and arresting imagery, adding up to an unforgettable story that has inspired audiences worldwide to action.
