Annual Meeting 2 September 2020

The Society of International Affairs in Gothenburg welcomes all members and participants to the Annual Meeting on the 2nd of September 2020 at 16.00. After the decision to change our operational year was made at the Extraordinary Annual Meeting in June 2020, the operational year will henceforth be aligned with the academic university year starting in September, making it more complying.

Motions and election of the new board

At the meeting we will be electing a new board for the operational year of 2020/2021 and voting for and discussing any motions put forth. We ask that all motions and propositions be sent to the adress president@ufgbg.se

Motions that are sent in no later than 14 days prior to the Annual Meeting will be considered.

Note: Only those with a membership no less than five weeks prior to the Annual Meeting, i. e before 5th of August are eligible to vote during the meeting.

Location

Due to the pandemic and respecting the restrictions on social distancing issued by the Swedish authorities and Gothenburg University, the location of the event might be target to changes. Any changes regarding the location of the meeting will be updated here and on our Facebook event Annual Meeting September 2020.

UPDATE: The meeting will be held online through Zoom. The link will be sent to everyone who has registered by the 28th of August.

Registration for the Annual Meeting is mandatory in order for us to conduct the meeting and election process according to our by-laws.
