About the Project:
Fika Politica is a project organized for many years by Society of International Affairs Gothenburg where our members can talk, discuss and share knowledge on a chosen topic for the day over Fika, provided by UF Gothenburg.
Since we, due to the pandemic, no longer can have the event in physical form at Gothenburg University, we decided to adapt to the circumstances and temporarily “go digital”.
“Fika Politica goes digital” will be a miniseries with a few episodes each one of them with a different topic. With geography no longer limiting us, we will have speakers from around the globe.
Episode 101: The Pandemic
Join us on Thursday to get a broad perspective on the pandemic’s implications on lives of students across the globe. Discussing everything from how the first cases lead to lockdown or other measures taken, in what ways the authorities have communicated with its population and what steps have been made towards opening up society again.
We welcome you to listen in to our talk and also to interact by asking questions to the participants. The talk will be informal with participating students sharing their own experiences and thoughts. You are encouraged to take on different perspectives, to engage and to interact in the discussions according to the hosts/moderators instructions.
We kindly ask that arguments about which country has implemented the best strategy is avoided.
