This land is mine – The Israeli-Palestinian conflict

Mërgim Tahiri studies Political Science at University of Gothenburg. In July 2014, he travelled to Israel and Palestine to study a summercourse on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The institution organizing the course is considered one of very few institutions which are trying to give an overall picture of the conflict.
Only days after Mërgim arrived in Israel the war in Gaza broke out. This lead to increased tensions that also he as a student experienced.
He will talk about the conflict from both the Israeli and Palestinian perspectives and about the current topics that should be discussed but is not always covered in Swedish media.
