UF Film Club: Taksim Commune: Genzi Park and the uprising in Turkey

UF Film club presenting a movie night on the topic Turkish politics!
To understand the backgrounds of the political revolts during 2013 in Turkey we have chosen to screen two movies that focus on the topic.
The beginning investigates the authoritarian regime in Turkey and tries to define reason for this rebellion. “Taksim Commune: Genzi Park and the uprising in Turkey” tells the story of the occupation of Gezi Park, its violent eviction, and the mass uprising it sparked.
