UF study trip to Rome

Make sure to claim the exclusive opportunity to join Utrikespolitiska Föreningen Göteborg on our study trip which goes to the ancient city of Rome this semester.

Once the capital of one of the world’s most powerful ancient empires, Rome is a fascinating place whose ideals have long lingered on in the history of its former territory. With its breathtaking buildings and monuments, incredible works of art, small-town charm, leisurely pace of life and world-renowed cuisine, the Eternal city is a must visit at least once in a life time, even though it would take a lifetime to explore everything it has to offer.

Besides the mandatory visits, you will have plenty of time to explore the sights of the city in your own pace. Feel the atmosphere at the local piazzas, wander along ancient ruins, explore architectural prowess, get inspired by the art, enjoy amazing food and just reload your batteries for the last weeks before the final exams in school.

We will visits institutions like:
-The Swedish embassy
-The Swedish institute in Rome
-The Sovereign military order of Malta
-Get a free tour of the Pantheon
-The food and agriculture organization of the United Nations.
-ICCROM or UNHCR
-(possibly more based on your interest)

The trip will take place somewhere between 13th and 18th of May, and the approximate cost for flight + accomondation will be around 3000SEK.
