Creation of global mechanism for resource governance
As of 2015 there is no international mechanism in existence that would deal with global governance of resources, both natural resources and man-made materials. The lack of cooperation on resources management and inefficiency of resource usage, has led to significant levels of industrial and agricultural waste in some areas and shortages of available resources in others. UNIDO committee will discuss this issue and will aim to develop a suitable framework for global resource governance.
All simulations are open both to public to observe and to participate. If you would like to participate as a delegate please send an email to modelun@ufgbg.se and you will be assigned a country.

Three things that you should know as a delegate:
1. Know the topic (including the positions of other countries)
2. Know your country and its position on the topic
3. Prepare a 1 minute speech to introduce your country’s position on the topic
