Sten Rylander: Africa Turning – A Continent in Change

Africa has for a long time been described with words such as war, disastrous famine and Aids epidemic. But the continent has changed and so the given image of it. Analysts are today talking about Africa as a continent with its future at its feet, with a strong economic development and an increasing political stability.
Sten Rylander, former ambassador and diplomat with more than 30 years experiences of Africa will talk about his new book Afrika vänder – En kontinent i förändring (Africa Turning – A Continent in Change). He will share his experiences and views of Africa, of its great potentials with rich natural resources and a growing consumer market, but still with great challenges such as poverty and increasing gaps in income.
